Shustoke Fly Fishers is a well established friendly club offering secluded fly only fishing for Rainbow,Blue and Brown Trout. The club is private with toilet, cooking facilities, parking, boats and ample easy access bank fishing. The lake ( approx 10 acres ) is approached by private road less than a mile away from a local village pub offering hot food and refreshments from noon throughout the day.
We offer fishing from 8am till dusk by simply signing in on the day with 8 - 12 fish, weekly catch limits depending on particular months. We are a mixed club with a junior section. Guest tickets and free passes ( 3 day visits ) for beginners accompanied by a full member are available.
We organise two friendly Competitios over the season ans a special Bailiffs Fun Event with free food & refeshments at a local establishment.
The tranquil secluded lake is well sheltered with exceptional bird life and is truely the opitamy of a well run small fishery
The lake is stocked 4 or 5 times a season with Rainbow, Brown and Blue Trout depending on catch levels which are reviewed on a weekly basis. Total stock at any time is between 600 to 1000 fish depending on water conditions etc .The waters also hold excellent overwintered fish in excess of 10 pounds.
