Kilnsey Park Fly Fishery is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The two spring fed lakes are both approximately 1 acre in size and are open all year round, fishing well throughout the winter. The lakes are well stocked with hard fighting Rainbow, Blue, Brown and Golden trout from 2lb to 20lb+, all grown to the highest standards in the pristine waters of our own Trout Farm. We host fishing courses and events throughout the year and are a TROUTMASTER water.
The main fly fishing lakes are open 7.30am to 5pm during summer. Over winter (November to March) the lakes are open during daylight hours, but closed on Mondays.
We also have a popular Family Fishing Pond, which is an ideal place to get youngsters started on their fishing journey. This is open 9.30am to 5pm from Easter to October (closed over the winter).
We have plenty of car parking, along with an on-site cafe, shop and toilets which are adjacent to the lake, with lakeside fishing access for all abilities.
Kilnsey Fly Fishery is located at Kilnsey Park, 11 miles north of Skipton on the B6160. From the south you will see the main gate on your left hand side just before entering the village of Kilnsey. We have plenty of parking available.

If you purchased your ticket online via Castbooker, please bring your confirmation email and some form of identification with you when you fish as you may need to show them to a Bailiff (this can be printed or on your phone).

Always a pleasure to fish at Kilnsey. The fish are all an extremely high standard and put up a brilliant fight. Set In a brilliant location with superb views. The facilities are very good and the staff are very friendly and extremley helpful. I would highly recommend fishing here if you already haven’t.
