Description
Lakeside Coarse Fishery is a family run business that was formed in 1997 with a vision to create quality fishing in a quiet, rural setting. We transformed a number of small clay pits to make a 2 pool fishery and aimed to facilitate good fishing throughout the year with a high-density stocking policy.
A now well established fishery, Lakeside Coarse Fishery has 33 pegs on the main water and 7 pegs on the smaller water. There are good selection of carp (Common, Mirror, Leather and Crusian), roach, rudd, perch along with some good samples of tench and bream.
Remember to rig up well as fish of up to 26lb have been recorded - the mythical creature of the deep named ‘Bob’. He’s a wise old fish, always lurking, and is tough to catch!! If you managed to net this wondrous fish please be sure to let us know but we will need photographic evidence and a witness if possible to verify your achievement.
Both waters are open all year round, from dawn until dusk, including Christmas Day for those who are looking for an escape!! The main water is available for match bookings and on match days the smaller water will remain open to all (tickets are transferable onto the main water as soon as the match has finished).

Fishery Rules
General Rules
· Fishing licence required (regular checks are made by the Environment Agency)
· Fee’s must be paid up front at the hut next to the car park (double charges will apply bank side)
· Strictly no night fishing
· Maximum 2 rods per angler
· Barbless hooks only
· No keep nets (except for pre-arranged matches)
· Landing nets to be used for every fish
· Net dips must be used on this water (before & after fishing)
· Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
· ALL litter and leftover baits must be taken home
Bait Rules:
1. No bread feed, loose feed only
2. No boilies or jokers
3. No ground bait
4. Pellets as hook bait only
5. No paste
Anyone found removing fish will be prosecuted
