The fishery can be accessed by the road bridge at the downstream end of the river.
Description
This stretch of the Loddon is adjacent to Causeway lake and covers both banks from Whistley Bridge upstream and past the old ‘Bailey’ bridge – approximately 200 metres in total – to a point on the right bank where a public footpath joins the bank.
This relatively short stretch of the river Loddon is great for roving, with shallow gravel glides and deep pools. In summer months it is possible to spot fish in the clear water. Fishing begins at the road bridge and ends at the upstream signage. Specimen barbel and chub are the target species, though good sport can also be had with roach and dace.

You must hold a valid EA Rod Licence and one of the following tickets prior to fishing at River Loddon - Whistley Mill:
Membership
If you purchased your ticket online via Castbooker, please bring your confirmation email and some form of identification with you when you fish as you may need to show them to a Bailiff (this can be printed or on your phone).
Rules

6am to 9pm under our agreement with the new riparian owner. Fishing outside these hours is only permitted through the purchase of a night permit.
