Description:

A beautiful 4 acre lake set in the heart of the rural Fylde.

A former trout lake for over 10 years means the lake is well developed and has depths of around 15 feet, with interesting features for the Carp.

Currently sizes range up to 22lbs.

As well as the various types of Carp, including Common, Mirror & Leather, there's also Rudd & Roach.

We currently have 21 pegs, spaced apart and will run day time pleasure fishing only.

VENUE RULES
Red trolleys can be used but must be brought back immediately.

Current EA Rod licences to be shown to staff upon request.

Vehicles off the grass at all times. Only stop in designated car parks. No unloading at swims.

Rods are not to be left unattended. Property left at owners’ risk.

No unaccompanied children under 16 years.

Fish within the limits of your peg.

Open 8am till 8pm. DO NOT arrive before 7.30am.

CARP CARE
Landing nets, unhooking mats and weigh slings to be dipped before going to your peg.

No Keep Nets or Carp Sacks.

Unhooking Mats or Cradles to be used at all times.

Zig rigs on one rod only. Minimum breaking strain line 10lb.

Carp care antiseptic to be used on all fish before returning to the water (available in the shop if you don’t have it).

*Carp care antiseptic is mandatory.*

Return fish promptly. Fish can be retained for no longer than 15 minutes (if you require assistance due to fish injury, please call 01253 804 588).

BAITS & RIGS
Barbless hooks only. No crushed barbs.

Pellets are available to purchase on site. The fish are fed with these pellets so their use is highly recommended.

Banned baits: Tiger nuts, and baits containing nuts & bloodworm.

No braided line or free lining. Surface floats are allowed but must be observed at all times!

All spombs / spods / bait rockets must float.

Please consider other Anglers when spodding.

Random rig checks will be carried out, please don’t be offended.

DIRECTIONS
M6, Junction 32 (Blackpool Turnoff) – turn onto the M55 signposted Blackpool.

M55, Junction 3 (Kirkham Turnoff) – turn right at the roundabout onto the A585 heading for Fleetwood.

In half a mile there is an Indian Restaurant called the Ashiana then a speed camera on your left, take the next left after the speed camera turning down Greenhalgh Lane (before you reach the Shell Garage & Starbucks).

Go down Greenhalgh Lane until you reach a ‘T’-Junction (approximately 1 mile). TURN RIGHT (Sat navs will try to take you left here so beware) and then take the second left into the site entrance.

Not Driving: The nearest train station is 'Kirkham & Wesham'. It's around a 10min taxi ride from our site. The local taxi firm is Kirkham Taxis, they can be contacted on 01772 683003.

Bus Service to Blackpool: The nearest bus stop is on the main A585 which is around a 25min walk from the site. The bus takes around 45mins so we'd usually recommend a taxi (15mins).
