Description
Wessex Fly Fishing has a variety of lakes and ponds, alongside the river Piddle about 1/2 a mile from the village of Tolpuddle. The lakes are regularly stocked with rainbow trout. There is ample car parking, a fishing hut and plenty of seats.

1 MAJOR CHANGE FOR 2020 KEEP AT LEAST 15 METERS APART WHEN FISHING.
2 SINGLE HOOK MAX SIZE 10 LONGSHANK
3 MAX 2 FLIES
4 ALL FISH CAUGHT MUST BE KILLED
5 DO NOT FISH UNDER THE POWER LINES OR ON THE NORTH BANK OF THE OXBOW AND CHURCH LAKE
6 DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES
7 CATCH RETURNS BY EMAIL ONLY – NOT COMPULSORY.
8 CAR PARKING PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS BESIDE THE LAKE – THREE SPACES IN THE CAR PRK AND THREE SPACES IN THE FIELD ON THE LEFT. PARK BY THE DESIGNATED POSTS.
9 PLEASE TAKE YOUR LITTER HOME

7th July 2020 at 10:41 AMThank you for a very special day at Tolpuddle Lakes yesterday. I fished Oxbow for about 2 hours and in a mad10 minute period landed two fish…a Brown Trout of 1lb and a Rainbow of 4lb 2oz. I shall return! Regards, Dan
